Dr. Muchammad Bayu Tejo Sampurno, the team leader, is a senior academic at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia. With a deep-rooted expertise in performing arts technology, arts education, and therapeutic creative methodologies, Dr. Bayu has been at the forefront of integrating multisensory and immersive approaches into learning for children, particularly those with diverse educational needs.
He is joined by Dr. Abdul Rahman Safian, also from the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, UPSI, who brings critical insights into curriculum development and interactive pedagogy. His work focuses on educational innovation within the Malaysian primary school context, ensuring that HiPOP aligns effectively with the national curriculum frameworks such as DSKP and KSSR.
The team also includes Tri Cahyo Kusumandyoko, a creative education specialist from the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia. His cross-cultural perspective and expertise in language-based arts and technology-enhanced learning contribute to HiPOP’s intercultural adaptability and pedagogical versatility across Southeast Asia.
